Character drawing inspired by playing World of Warcraft.

Yay Night Elves.

I'm kind of frustrated lately because I'm finding that I can't color as well as I used to. So when I really, really, really have the dying need to get an image out of my head and I know trying to go color would take too long for me to satisfy my need, I just resort back to my old black and white sketchy style. It's fast, easy, and I don't have to think too hard on color theory and all that.

I still wish I could make something with color though.

Absolutely amazing... I may not know much about World of Warcraft, but I do know good art when I see it! ^^

And yeah, I know what you mean by wanting to use color, and not being able to. Pro'lly why most of my doodles are only just doodles... ^^;

hmmm, have you ever considered that instead of not being able as well as you used to, maybe you are not colouring as well as you expect from yourself? you're colouring the same but you expect more from your experience level. oO eat that logic. xD

Long time no see! :wave: This is really gud, and I can see dat u really sketch this one really fast (judging from d line art...) Hmm, bout d coloring problem, probably u just need more patience. If u just wanna hurry to do something, it will never come out right. I got dat kinda problem, too sometimes, and I regret it >____< Yeah, it sucks. Gud luck, kay? =)

So you're saying that my skills are staying the same but my brain thinks I should be better so I think I'm getting worse?

Hehe, just kidding! You know that makes a whole lot of sense when I think about it. :P Maybe that is what's happening. I just keep looking at my attempts to color stuff and think "UGAAHGHGH! Why isn't this coming as easily to me as it used to?!"

Yeah, I think I am rushing myself a bit. I keep thinking "I want this picture to appear right noooow~!" and that probably helps make the coloring look like crapola. :P

Maybe when I try again, I'll pace myself. Or at least try to pace myself. :P
